Today we attended two sessions: “Starting a Small Business” and “Marketing”. We enjoyed the starting a business session, even though we’ve already started our business. It really does help you think about the foundations of your business and whether you’re on the right track.

In all of the sessions and the networking, we particularly found ourselves listening to what problems small business owners need solved in the IT realm. It has given Julia and I a few ideas about how to structure our business to be more enjoyable for us, and also to be more of a great service to small businesses. I realised that I love small business, and I’d love to do something for them! As a result, we’re going to ensure that our business strategy is properly in line with this passion and customer group.
